Note: These marriage notices were provided from the records of the Sullivan Review, Dushore, PA, and the Sullivan County Historical Society. Many of the notices themselves have been posted on the Sullivan County Web Page Message Boards where you can find and read them. If you are concerned about a particular marriage date for these years, please give us the name and date, or approximate date, and wee will then verify and post it if we can. If the marriage date isn't on the message board, you can contact Bob Sweeney and he will ask someone to try to look it up. The most reliable dates are between 1878 and 2005. We can look for earlier dates, but those records are spotty and we do not want to get someone's hopes up. We are grateful to the Sullivan Review and the Sullivan County Historical Society for this valuable record of the history of Sullivan County, and we appreciate Tina's effort in transcribing them.

You will also find occasional listings in orange. In these cases, Janice Decker obtained dates and license numbers directly from the Sullivan County Courthouse in early 2007 while conducting her own family history research. We are grateful to Janice for this addtional information.
